Joyce Goh

Joyce is passionate about inspiring children and youth to love music and impart lifelong lessons along the way. She believes that music can be a powerful tool for personal development, and she loves helping her students discover their own musical voice.

Joyce has over 23 years of experience as a music educator. She was the former Head of Music & Choir Director at Dalat International School, where she led elementary and high school choirs as well as men's and women's vocal ensembles. She staged hundreds of high-production drama, musicals, and concert performances that were the highlight of the academic year for parents, friends, school supporters, and the surrounding community. Her students have regularly been invited to various regional and international choral festivals.

Joyce is accredited in the Orff Approach for music education, a highly regarded methodology that engages students with what they already do instinctively: play, imitate, and experiment. She is also trained in Musikgarten, an internationally recognized early childhood music program; Salvo Russo's Body Percussion approach; and Creative and Collaborative World Music with Andy Gleadhill. This multiplicity of teaching approaches makes Joyce an agile, creative teacher who keenly assesses her students' learning abilities to create a more engaging classroom.

In addition to her teaching experience, Joyce is also a performing musician. She has performed in over 350 concerts, and she has a passion for sharing her love of music with others. She is a strong believer in the power of music to connect people, and she loves creating opportunities for her students to perform and share their own musical gifts.

If you are looking for a music educator who is passionate, experienced, and creative, then Joyce is the perfect teacher for you. She is dedicated to helping her students reach their full potential, and she loves creating a fun and supportive learning environment.
